Company retreat venues only work when the logistics disappear and your people don’t have to think about them. Gatheround plans and books the whole thing — venue, lodging, meals, transport, and the run-of-show — across a set of properties in the Catskills and Poconos, most of them about two hours from Manhattan.
From first-time offsites to full-company gatherings, we run everything in-house — the venues are ours, so you’re dealing with one team instead of stitching together six vendors.
Group size sets the shortlist. Our company retreat venues range from Tyler Hill in the Poconos, which handles events up to 800 with overnight space for 500. Timber Lake, lakeside in the Catskills, runs events up to 500 and sleeps 400. Timber Lake West holds 300 for both events and overnight. For smaller, higher-touch offsites, The Shandaken Inn takes up to 100 for events with capacity for 42 overnight guests, and The Inn at Tyler Hill does the same event count with around 20.
If you need a day-only site closer to the city, North Shore in Glen Cove is roughly 45 minutes from Manhattan and holds 500 for the day.
Planning a retreat is mostly coordination: lodging blocks, catering headcounts, AV, ground transport, and a schedule that gives people room to actually connect. We handle the moving parts and hand your team a clear run-of-show, so the offsite runs without someone from your side babysitting logistics on the day.
Most of our overnight venues sit about 2 hours 15 minutes from Midtown. That’s close enough to keep travel from eating a full day on each end, and far enough that people are actually away from the office.
